Day 1: Arrival Yangon
Arrive at Yangon Airport,welcome and transfer to your hotel.Leisure at hotel.Drive through Colonial Style Building downtowns, the Chinatown area and the Indian quarter.Take photo at Sule Pagoda and City hall. Afternoon, visit Kandawgyi Park and pass through the Karaweik Royal Barge, the reclining Buddha at Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, is almost as large as the enormous figure in Bago Shwethalyaung. Enjoy sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, the 'heart' of Buddhist Myanmar.
Day 2 : Yangon – Twante – Yangon
Transfer to Pansoden Jetty and take a local ferryboat across to the river to Dala. one-hour drive by local taxi will take us to Twante. Eeing the glimpse of life on and along the Twante Canal. After a visit to Shwesandaw Pagoda we can take a Trishaw to the Pottery area where a large part of the population in Twante is engaged in production pottery.Return to Yangon.
Day 3 : Yangon – Mandalay (By Train)
Take the train by yangon to Mandalay. (approximately 0600-2130 hours), non air conditioned and reclining seats only). Arrive Mandalay Railway Station and transfer to your hotel.Leisure time at your hotel.
Day 4 : Mandalay
Drive to Amarapura and visit U-Bein Bridge, which is 1.2km long leak bridge over the Taung Thaman Lake. Then visit to Mahagandayon Monastery, Silk Weaving workshops, Mahamuni Pagoda, Marble Curving workshops, and Gold Leaf Beating workshops. In the afternoon, visit Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery), Kuthodaw Pagoda, Kyaukdawgyi Pagoda. Enjoy Sunset at Mandalay Hill.
Day 5: Mandalay – Mingun – Ava – Sagaing – Mandalay
Morning, transfer to Mandalay jetty and enjoy boat trip (approx 45 minutes) to Mingun. Visit Mingun Bell, weighing 55,555 viss (90) tonnes and the largest hung uncracked bell in the world.Then visit to Mingun Pagoda, Hsinbyume Pagoda (Also known as Myatheindan Pagoda).Afternoon, continue to visit Maha Aungmye Bonzn Monastery (Also known as the Ok Kyaung), Nanmyin Watch Tower, Bagaya Kyaung and sunset at Sagaing Hill.
Day 6 : Mandalay – Monywa
Drive to Monywa,arrive and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, take a local ferry across the Chindwin River and then drive to visit a sandstone cave system in the Po Win Hi caves of Po Win Daung, numbering more than one hundred, are full of Buddhist statues and murals. Shwe Ba Daung which features unique pavilions cut from the surrounding sandstone and filled with Buddha images.
Day 7: Monywa – Pakkoku – Private Boat to Bagan
Early morning visit to the local market.Then visit to Thanboddhay Pagoda. The buildings in the compound have interesting jataka reliefs and there is a huge Reclining Buddha nearby.Drive to Pakkoku.IN the afternoon, visit this quiet villages , take a Private Boat on the Ayeyarwady River down to Bagan hopefully in time to see the sunset over the many pagodas.
Day 8 : Bagan
Start to Nyaung U local Market , the golden stupa of Shwezigon Pagoda, Gubyaukgyi Temple, Wetgyi-Inn Village between Bagan and Nyaung-U, Htilominlo.Take photo around the temple and visit to Lacquer Ware Factory. Continue to Ananda Temple, Nanpaya Temple, Manuha Pagoda, Myazedi Stupa, Gubyaukgyi Temple. Enjoy Sunset at Shwe Sandaw Pagoda (or) Buu Pagoda.
Day 9: Bagan – Popa – Kalaw
Depart Bagan early morning for a full day's drive to Kalaw. Visit Mount Popa, home to Myanmar's intriguing ‘nats’(spirt). rom here onwards, the road to Kalaw is very bumpy but the scenery is interesting - endless paddy fields in the morning and rolling hills in the afternoon, as the road climbs into the mountains of southern Shan State.
Day 10 : Kalaw – Pindaya
Drive to Pindaya, visit Pindaya Caves, ensconced in limestone ridge overlooking the lake. hen visit some Local Houses where families produce Shan Paper and Parasols.
Day 11 : Pindaya – Taunggyi – Inle Lake
Drive up through pine-clad hills to Taunggyi, Visit the local Market where minority people sell their produce, the small Hill Tribe Museum (if open), a Cheroot Factory and drive to the top of one of the hills for views over the city and surrounding countryside. Late afternoon, drive to Nyaungshwe on the edge of Inle Lake.
Day 12: Inle Lake
Enjoy your Inle Lake Boat Trip and you will see the lake's unique “Leg Rowers”. Visit to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. Continue visit to Nga Phe Kyaung (Jumping Cat Monastery), wooden monastery on stilts over the lake. In the afternoon, leisure at hotel.
Day 13: Inle Lake – Heho – Yangon
Fly to Yangon. Visit Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda), Mahar Parsana Cave, Bogyoke (Scott) Market (closed on Mondays & Public Holidays) and it has the largest selection of Burmese handicrafts, Botathaung Pagoda, China Town.
Day 14: Yangon departure
Transfer to Yangon Airport for your departure flight.
